Compak Golden Bean Awards 2016

With more than 100 coffee roasting businesses attending and entries across 9 categories totaling nearly 1200 coffees, it’s the largest coffee roasters competition in the world and has been open to Australian roasters for over 10 years. This year the awards were held at Port Macquarie in NSW giving industry experts and dedicated roasters an opportunity to engage and share their experience and trade.

The event also provided a Green Bean Zone for Coffee Roasters and Suppliers

The initiative designed  to provide a link between green bean buyers and roasters. Often it is difficult to meet suppliers face to face due to geographical distances in Australia.  It also included a cupping session, where roasters were able to try a broad spectrum of origins to help make purchasing decisions.

Among the categories of coffees being judged were espresso, milk and filter beverages, chain store and more… Having a fond spot for Little Owl Coffee Roasters, I can’t help but mention the bronze award for the Full Moon blend, it has always been popular with Little Owl’s customers and café owners.

Hello, I run a small cafe based in a school and would like to find out what your pricing would be for coffee beans. We use roughly 12 x 1kg coffee beans a week. Would you be able to provide me a quote of what that would cost?

    Many Thanks!
    Kind Regards

      Hi Yvette,

Thanks for getting in touch and I apologise for the late reply, as I have just found your email message in our system. I can recommend the Full Moon Blend, many of our cafe clients use this along with our Signature Blend.
      Price $29.00 per kg.
