We are always striving to do our best for both the global coffee community and those that love to drink our coffee through sourcing our beans from ethical and sustainable sources.

The beans in our products come from places such as Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras, PNG and El Salvador. We partner with like-minded, ethical and driven organisations such as Origin Traders, Upstream, Bennett’s and Coficom.

Each of our green bean brokers have personal relationships with the farmers and mills and visit origins regularly. This ensures not only the quality of the green bean is high, but also to see first-hand the process from farming the fruit, to processing and warehousing of the green beans ready for dispatch.

Colombia

Dark Chocolate Molasses. Medium Acidity, Good Body, Sweet, Clean, Well Balanced

Our Colombian beans are sourced from smallholder producers with an average size of 1.5 hectares. Around 301,000 people in Huila alone depend on coffee activities and coffee represents about 7.3% of the regions GDP. The Region of Huila is responsible for over 16% of Colombia’s coffee production. The general Huila area is in a grassed valley with an annual rainfall of 1300 – 1800mm, annual temperatures vary between 19 – 22ᵒC.

Brazil

Chocolate, Nutty, Almond, Caramel, Medium Body, Sweet Finish

The Mogiana coffee region runs along the São Paulo side of a stretch of the São Paulo/Minas border. Differences between microclimates within the regions are far greater than general regional differences. Alta Mogiana is the name for a selection of the highest-quality coffees from a group of around 100 smallholder producers in the Mogiana coffee-growing region. The harvest on these coffees is primarily done mechanically, with a quality sort after harvest and before drying. The majority of beans coming out of Brazil are processed by the natural method.

Costa Rica

Light Body, Medium acidity, Plum, Dark Chocolate & Caramel

The region of Chirripo is SHG classified (Strictly High Grown) and comes from a cold and cloudy altitude. Chirripo is located in the Talamana Mountain Range and is home to Costa Rica’s highest mountain.  A tropical region, sweetened by sea breezes, with the history and artefact of ancient cultures and artisans of coffee growing too.  Chirripo is the road less travelled when it comes to coffee products and is something of a hidden gem.
